This small golden piece shows a person with a mask that looks like a jaw bone and a large headress. Insignias on the chest plate look to resemble someone of high rank in the military.
Two dates are inscribed on the chest plates. Starting on the left there is the god Koo Sau, 10 points, a stone knife, and two more points that represent the date of Year 10 of the Wind, Day 2 of Flint. On the right is Year 11 of the House. This is identified as the 5th ruler and founder of the 11th Sun Dynasty of Tilantongo.
My interpretations may be a little off, so don’t take this to heart.

If you are going to look for solid gold, it will depend on the weight of the whole piece. I can’t say anything about the gold plated version, but you won’t get much joy of of that one as the gold will wear off quickly. You are better off, going for a solid metal, either silver, copper or, if you like the golden color, solid brass might be an option.
